Hi my dears,

It's been a while since I wrote a good update but unfortunately I've been busy doing.... stuff, I guess you could call it. I spend most days making excuses not to sort out my things and pack my 2 boxes for the UK. I have gone so far as to bring up the box from my brother's computer and when I coincidentally pick something up I think I might want to take with me, I toss it in. So far it contains 2 pillows from my sofa, some pictures in frames, one painting, a dictionary and a wine guide. Priorities first!
It seems I'm going to have to pack a lot of my clothes in boxes as well due to the fact that somehow I'm going to have to transport my suitcase, a laptop, a guitar and my 3 million carry-ons to London without going over the 20 kg weight limit. Wish me luck.

As it stands, I'm leaving for the Czech Republic tomorrow night and will return about 5 am on the morning of the 25th. Some time between the 25th and the 5th of September I will be moving to London, apartment or no. The plan is that if I haven't found anything, I'll fly in to Gatwick, dump my stuff in Farnborough and move on to the couch of a lovely person in London from where one of my future flatmate and I will search endlessly for the right apartment. The plan is that that plan will work if all else fails. And it WILL NOT FAIL.

Today I have to clean (more like bulldoze) my apartemént for my lovely friend Tuuli to be able to stay here and feed my beloved cat while my father and brother are enjoying Paris and the UK. That will probably be from about 8 pm until lord knows what time in the morning, I'm off in about an hour and a half to meet a friend, then meet another one after her. I feel guilty about socialising while work waits but hell, a girl needs a coffee and a drink.

I haven't quite worked out a plan of action re: packing to move to another country. I see the difficulties my friends face while moving to another town... what if I move to another country and suddenly discover I don't have any matches? :P I have to get hangers from somewhere, I'm leaving most of my books- it's going to kill me! Will it be more logical to bring most of my cosmetics and toiletries WITH me or will it be cheaper and more logical to buy all new ones when I get there? What if I can't find the right so and so and I left mine in Estonia!? Should I bring my own hairdryer... or buy a new one? Should I bring my CD's in cases? :O
I wonder how many pairs of shoes will fit in my guitar case?

In continuing puzzlement,

Heili
