It was a slow day today. I woke up at 6.30 to send my grandfather and Ly off to the airport which I followed up with a cup of coffee and a few episodes of Sex adn the City (no comments, please. I know my addiction is pathetic). I felt tired about 8.30, so I popped in to bed and dozed until a late hour. Unfortunately the dozing was often interrupted by my father coming in to ask me about certain topics and then insisting on discussing them for up to 10 minutes. Not very beneficial as I had difficulty concentrating my one open eye on him. Spent day at home, more from necessity than desire (no money). I think now that I should have used my time wisely instead of having wallowed in my stupidity and boredom; doing laundry would not have gone amiss.

Just realised I am going to Norway in 10 days - must really do laundry and some packing. Eurgh. I'm finally enjoying my free time - I've learned how to do jackshit and like it!

Finished reading "The Sweet Potato Queens Book of Love". I just absolutely love those women... I swear, we've been sisters in a past life.

I'm going to go to sleep and wake up and be useful.
