After all, if you haven't heard yet, everyone is connected to everyone else by 6 degrees of separation. I know a goat herder in Siberia and a genuine Ashanti tribesman. The goat herder is an old friend really, my hairdresser knows a woman who's son's best friend knows a man who bought milk from this goat herder while travelling through Siberia. There is six degrees of separation for you! The Tribesman is an e-pal of a woman in Kentucky who sold an ice-cream to my aunt. Wow -only three there! And Orkut.com, another networking service, claims that I am connected to 420054 people through it's networking service, and all through my modest personal network of 63 friends.
