I've read a truly exceptional blog (will post later) and am now in awe of what people can do. Let's see how well I showcase my own abilities now.
Let's re- cap: Since I got back
I've skipped more classes than a future hobo and I don't think my teachers like me very much. Secondly, I have yet to complete the few small assignments that I owe for LAST semester. I just sit my little pearl-wearing ass down in a "posh" Tallinn cafe and drink cafe au lait's until the liquid pours out my ears. And I wonder where all my money goes.
Unforunately the temperatures did not rise due to global warming during the period that I was gone. In fact, if anything, they've begun to maintain a more even, and lower, below freezing temperature. It's just -8C ALL the time now.
A scary fact is that I tend to spend whatever time left over sitting at home curled up on my sofa in ulta-comfy pj's and reading my new Vogues and whatever book I've picked up. My most recent discovery was The Secret Life of Bees. Interesting, yet not entirely what I was in need of. Maybe Of Mice and Men will do it for me. We shall soon see.
Update: My Weekend
As I trudged to town from school on Friday (3 classes early, I might add), I was enjoying the rare sunshine and the "warmth" of light on my face. I was also equally exhilarated by the arctic wind blowing in from the bay, which tends to have a bite on it not unlike a dogs. A dog with a terrible case of halitosis.
I reached town, Tuuli in tow, to spend time shopping (without money) and having coffee (more). Went home.
Saturday was much the same. Met Tuuli (it's embarrassing already) and spent the day lounging in caf?s and enjoying the little rare sunshine of a spectacular weekend, weather-wise. I managed to even note a few males I was attracted to, however they all seemed to come with a very attached appendage - a woman. I'm sure their dicks *ahem* hearts, are in the right place though.
Sunday was spent quietly. I woke at 1 pm, after a late evening chat with Tapio, and decided that, as I needed shampoo and didn't want to pay for it, I would accompany father dearest to the grocery to pick up the few necessities. He simply wanted to stop by the hairdressers on the way for him and my brother to get a quick haircut. Long and short of it - I spent an hour and a half in the car listening to Estonian radio. It was... enlightening. I was pissed off. He later on bought me the new Vogue to entice me in to a good mood. Damn him; it worked.
I have a history test tomorrow and, were it not that I am skipping my first four classes to go have coffee and study for it, I might be worried. It's only five chapters.
Of course, it's only half past 11, there's time yet.
I'll panic tomorrow. Until then, I'll calculate how long it will take me to get those shoes I saw in Vogue.
